What we offer for Primary Schools
All of our workshops support your work back in the classroom, with local case studies and hands on activities.
They are led by Vicky, our Learning Officer, who has over fifteen years of experience of working with schools in museums

Hands on History Workshops
From Pre-History to World War Two, we offer a range of hands on, cross curricular workshops to help your pupils engage with the past.
All of the workshops use the Museum’s handling collection, which contains real and replica objects which really help your pupils connect with your topic.
History Craft Workshops
Want to help your pupils get more creative whilst learning more about your history topic? We have just the thing!
In these workshops, we use objects from the Museum’s collections as inspiration for a craft project which your pupils take home as a unique souvenir of their visit.
Keep up to date with what is going on at the Museum!
