Highlights of the Collection Workhouse Clock, 1819   George III built a new workhouse in 1786. A clock and cupola were added as a gift of Thomas Price and Mungo Dick in 1819. The clock dials are still on the building, but the works have been replaced. The original works are on display in the museum.
