Kicking off on March 28 at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Va., Brown's "In The Air" tour promises excitement. A highlight will be his performance at Boston's Fenway Park, a venue where he previously became the first Black artist to headline and sell out in its century-long history. The tour is set to culminate with a grand show on Sept. 14 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Throughout the tour, artists such as Tyler Hubbard, Jon Pardi, Chris Young, Bailey Zimmerman, Cole Swindell, Parmalee, LOCASH, and RaeLynn will share the stage with Brown as opening acts.
Earlier, Brown was honored with an international award at the ACM Honors event in Nashville and concluded the global segment of his "Drunk or Dreaming" tour, with stops in cities like Sydney, London, and Amsterdam. The artist, known for his track “Famous Friends,” recently celebrated his 10th Country Airplay No. 1 song, “Bury Me in Georgia.” Fans can also anticipate his upcoming single, “I Can Feel It,” releasing on Sept. 21, which intriguingly samples Phil Collins’ iconic drum solo from his 1981 hit “In The Air Tonight.” Speaking about his inspiration, Brown mentioned a past interview at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival where he expressed his admiration for icons like Cher and Phil Collins. The following day, Brown was songwriting in Canada and channeled that admiration into his new track. He expressed his excitement about how the song turned out and his eagerness to release it as his next single.
