The setlists have been a delightful mix of beloved classics and fresh tracks, ensuring that both long-time fans and new listeners are treated to an immersive musical experience.
Set to crisscross the country, this extensive journey will see Big Something touching both coasts and numerous cities in between.
Commencing this December and running through May, Big Something is set to hit the highways with their Headspace Tour. Originating from North Carolina, this tour marks the band's major headlining debut, encompassing over 60 shows. This tour coincides with their soon-to-be-released album, sharing the same title, "Headspace." Opening acts for most shows will be The Ries Brothers.
The eagerly awaited album, "Headspace," is slated for a November 17 release, with its premier single launching imminently. Offering insights on their seventh studio album, Big Something remarked:
The latest offering, 'Headspace', is a 12-song exploration delving deep into the intricacies of the human psyche. Penned predominantly in recent times as society emerged from historical peculiarities, the album is significantly influenced by the prevalent discourse on mental health. Every new single's release will highlight diverse non-profit organizations, who are working tirelessly on mental health and wellness issues. The band is exhilarated to unveil more, starting with the inaugural single.
Big Something, comprising Nick MacDaniels (guitar and main vocals), Casey Cranford (saxophone and electronic wind instrument), Ben Vinograd (drums), Jesse Hensley (lead guitar and vocals), Josh Kagel (keyboard and trumpet), along with the newest member Matt Laird (bass), is set to kick off this sprawling journey with two consecutive performances at Baltimore's The 8x10 on December 14 and 15. The group then sets its sights on the Northeast, wrapping up 2023 with a spectacular three-night New Year's extravaganza at Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh from December 29 to 31.
Post a brief hiatus, the band resumes touring on January 26 and 27 at Asheville's Salvage Station. February witnesses them touring cities like Roanoke, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Nashville, among others. March is booked with performances in Colorado, including Telluride, Crested Butte, and Steamboat Springs. They then proceed to Boise and eventually embrace the West Coast with shows across Oregon, Washington, California, and Arizona from March 14-24. The subsequent phase of the Headspace Tour recommences in April in Ohio, spanning numerous cities and concluding in Washington D.C. on May 11.
Early-bird tickets are currently available, with general tickets going on sale at 10 a.m. local time on September 8.
