How the Vote was Won Art and Theatre for Women's Suffrage 1st May - 4th September 2010 An exhibition focusing on the role played by artists, writers and theatre people in the campaign for women's suffrage, both nationally and locally. The exhibition is being mounted in conjunction withe Aurora Metro Arts and Media, and will be curated by Dr Susan Croft and Irene Cockroft. On display will be material from the Women's Library, the Silvia Pankhurst Memorial Committee, the Museum of London, Smallhythe Place, and private collectors.
