Friends of the Museum
Is Richmond special to you? The Friends of the Museum of Richmond are interested in Richmond's history and in the Museum's role in preserving and interpreting our local heritage. They provide volunteers to staff the Museum front desk and shop, and are actively involved in fundraising, to support for example new exhibitions. There are also opportunities to work alongside professional staff on exhibitions and a variety of other projects. Become a Friend and meet new friends! Besides supporting the Museum, membership of the Friends entitles you to:-
- invitations to special private views
- regular copies of The Herald, the Museum's newsletter
- reduced admission to Friends' lectures
- participation in a variety of social events throughout the year, such as the River Cruise, the Garden Party, and the Big Band Blitz.
