Is Richmond special to you? The Friends of the Museum of Richmond are interested in Richmond's history and in the Museum's role in preserving and interpreting our local heritage. They provide volunteers to staff the Museum front desk and shop, and are actively involved in fundraising, to support for example new exhibitions. There are also opportunities to work alongside professional staff on exhibitions and a variety of other projects. Become a Friend and meet new friends!

• invitations to special private views
• regular copies of The Herald, the Museum's newsletter
• reduced admission to Friends' lectures
• participation in a variety of social events throughout the year, such as the River Cruise, the Garden Party, and the Big Band Blitz.

	Monday 9th February	8pm 'Henry VII at Richmond Palace' Talk by Sean Cunningham of the National Archive Duke Street Baptist Church Friends invited as guests of the Richmond Local History Society - take your membership card for free admission
	Friday 27th March	7pm-10pm Evening Quiz Including supper (bring own wine) Richmond Green United Reform Church, Quadrant Road (behind Halifax Building Society) £9 - send SAE and cheque made payable to 'Friends of the Museum of Richmond' to Barbara Vosper c/o the Museum of Richmond
	Friday 17th April	10am - noon Petersham Hotel Coffee Morning - Bring and Buy Admission £2
	Wednesday 20th May	6.15 - 7.45 pm Friends Annual General Meeting To be held at the Museum of Richmond, refreshments included
	Monday 8th June	12:30 pm Midsummer Lunch at Brula Restaurant, 41 Crown Road, St Margarets TW1 3EJ (a short walk from St Margarets station) Numbers limited - please book early
	Monday 27th July	Noon onwards White Cross, Richmond Riverside Come and socialise with like-minded Friends, perhaps over a snack and glass of wine or coffee - the choice is yours!
