The Curator's Choice The year 2008 sees the 20th anniversary of the opening of the Museum of Richmond by Her Majesty the Queen. The Curator's Choice celebrates this landmark by presenting a range of objects and pictures acquired by the Museum during those 20 years. Some have been chosen for display by present staff. Others have been selected by people closely connected with the Museum, past and present, who describe the reasons behind their choice of object. A few of the items have been on regular display but many of them have been in store due to lack of exhibition space and, in some cases, to conservation needs. We celebrate 20 years of the Museum of Richmond by sharing these sometimes hidden treasures with the public.
